- Now accepting teaching applications for 2008-09.
Positions may be available for elementary teachers as well as secondary
(middle school and/or high school) science and math. Both full-time and
part-time positions will be considered.

Dayspring students from grades 3-8 participated in the
annual ACSI Math Olympics hosted by Roanoke Valley Christian School today.
A number of students won first place along with a medal
for scoring 85% or above. Many other students received ribbons for
placing in the competition. Congratulations to all the Dayspring
participants!
- April 16, 2008.
Students in kindergarten through 5th grade had a special visitor at chapel
today when local author Tristan Perry came to read from her book
Furry Tails: The Adventures of
Cinnamon Persimmon.
The children loved
hearing the tails of the poodle Cinnamon. They also enjoyed the opportunity
to ask the author questions about the story, and about the writing and
publication process. A special thank you to Tristan for visiting Dayspring!
Her book is available at the Montgomery-Floyd Regional Library and
local bookstores.

Spring sports seasons are well under way for golf, girls soccer and boys
soccer. Congratulations to the girls soccer team for an exciting 3-2
victory yesterday over the Roanoke Valley Home Schoolers!
