Tuition and Fees
The Dayspring Board of Directors works diligently to keep the costs of educating a child as low
as possible. Moreover, we attempt to ensure that no child is denied
admission because of family finances. Please contact the office for
more information regarding current tuition rates and financial assistance.
It is a priority of Dayspring Christian Academy to carefully manage finances in a manner which will keep the Christian school option as affordable as possible for the Christian families. Tuition has remained relatively low largely because of the willingness of school staff to serve for less remuneration than they might make in the public workplace. In a very real sense, the DCA staff are the school's largest donors.
Fees associated with Stanford Testing and selected one-day field trip expenses are part of the
tuition. All Registration Fees are to be paid at time child is enrolled; this is a non-refundable fee.
A modest fee for textbooks is also collected annually.
Additional Fees Per Child:
Application Fee (non-refundable) (additional child $10.00): $25.00
New Student registration: $175
Re-enrollment: $100 (by April 2), $175 (after April 2)
(Registration/Enrollment Fees are non-refundable)
Textbook Fee: $125
Sports Fee (per sport): $150.00
School Pictures (optional): varies
Discounts. Families with two or more students enrolled in Dayspring will receive a discount from the tuition equal to 1% for each child enrolled. For example, a family with three students would receive a discount of 3% of the total tuition amount for the three students. Dayspring also offers a discount to families with one or more parents engaged in full-time Christian ministry. Please contact the school office for more information.
Volunteer Work
To keep tuition as affordable as possible, Dayspring is dependent upon the kind of volunteer work common in most
schools through parents' participation in the school's Parent/Teacher
Fellowship, sports program, planning committees, field trips, chapel
ministry, building and grounds upkeep, and various activities throughout the school year.
Fund Raising
Tuition is structured to cover the basic operating expenses of the school.
Additional financial needs such as scholarship/financial aid monies, purchases
of equipment and vehicles, capital improvements, etc. must be funded through
donations and fundraising activities. All families enrolled at Dayspring
are asked to be involved in some manner in helping the school
to raise these additional funds.
Non-Discriminatory Policy
Dayspring Christian Academy admits students of any race, color, national
and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities
generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not
discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethic origin in the
administration of the educational policies, scholarship program, and athletic
and other school-administered programs.
Additional information regarding the school and the student admissions
process may be obtained by calling or writing the school office.
Dayspring Christian Academy is a member of Association of Christian Schools
International (ACSI).
